Last year, the European Championship fell through. This year, soccer will be celebrated again in Europe. The anticipation is rising and we have the right song for it: "Champions from Germany", a variation from Anton's smash hit "Fußball macht Spaß"!
The video was shot during the recording of the German soccer song, which is a tribute to all footballers of this country, on Good Friday back in 2018. "Champions from Germany" was recorded in the Bullet Sound Studio near Amsterdam. US singer Prince has also recorded his big hits there.
Anton van Doornmalen is accompanied by 15 singers from the Blau-Weiß-Büderich soccer club. They appeared in a wide variety of fan shirts - as a fan team in a wide variety of colors. This expresses that the song is not about rivalry, but about team spirit.
